Resumption of business on 2 June 2020
Ministry of Trade and Industry has issued an advisory on 19 May 2020. Based on the list of permitted businesses, our company is permitted to operate starting on 2 June 2020 (Phase 1). We have also received clearance from Maritime Port Authority (MPA) and our two marinas.
We will resume our charter business on 2 June 2020 with several restrictions and new measures in place. These include (but not limited to) the following:
(i) Social gatherings remain prohibited.
You can charter the boat as a family (one household)
You can charter the boat as individuals (not friends)
You cannot charter the boat as a group of friends (social gathering)
When you book with us, you are required to make a declaration to this effect
(ii) Safe distancing. Everyone needs to be at least 1 meter apart. Spots where you can sit, and stations where you can stand at will be indicated.
(iii) Health condition. Anyone who is unwell eg fever, cough or other mild flu-like symptoms will be denied boarding. Please be responsible. Stay home and get well soon. Do not risk the health of others.
(iv) Temperature checks. These will continue to be taken at the security post of the marinas.
(v) Safe Entry Contact Tracing. We will adopt the Safe Entry procedures to facilitate contact tracing. Please bring your IC for scanning.
(vi) Masks. Masks need to be worn even after the circuit breaker. All guests must wear masks, otherwise they will be denied boarding. The government has provided everyone with reusable cloth masks. Many anglers also own cloth masks that cover the nose, mouth and neck.
(vii) Disinfection. We will provide disinfecting hand soap onboard. We will not provide hand sanitiser (it might kill the live prawns).
(viii) Cleaning. Our boats are washed thoroughly at the end of every trip.
Existing bookings of a social gathering nature will be rescheduled. We will contact you to make the necessary arrangements.
As the situation is constantly evolving, please check back to our Announcements page for updates.
Our first and foremost priority remains the safety of our guest and crew. For more information on the MTI advisory please see here.
Please stay safe and stay vigilant. Health is wealth!
